ORCHARD CARDS is a family business based in rural Cheshire and offers a splendid range of up-market and unsentimental cards at competitive prices.  We aim to provide the highest standards of old-fashioned customer service with all the convenience of shopping on-line.

Note to artists etc - We regret that we only stock cards published by established suppliers and do not commission or print designs ourselves.

Delivery charges - Postage is free for orders of ten items or more, and £1.99 for orders of nine items or fewer (please refer to our Terms of Business page for more detail).

Size of cards - All our cards fall into the Royal Mail standard "letter" tariff, the size of the envelope being no greater than 240x165mm.

Packaging - Our cards are posted to you in high-quality board-backed envelopes, padded envelopes or boxes (depending on quantity and type).  Wrapping paper is rolled, not folded, and posted in triangular cardboard tubes.

Illustration quality - We have made every effort to reflect the cards as accurately as possible, however the colours of the actual cards may vary slightly from their internet representation.  Metallic shades and glitter are particularly difficult to scan.  In virtually all cases, the actual product is more impressive than the website picture.

Search facility - Use this to find all our cards with a certain theme e.g. fishing or football.  However, please note that your search may throw up results that initially appear odd.  This happens because the search facility looks for any word containing the combination of letters you have provided e.g. searching on the word "cat" will include a card illustrated with two oystercatchers"

Cards appear twice in a range - Sometimes the same card will appear more than once in the same range.  This is because we have included some cards in more than one category in our database e.g. a "Love" card that is also appropriate for Valentine's Day.

Icons partially obsure the card illustration - You may find four small icons (save/print/send/open) appearing in the top left corner of the enlarged card illustration.  These will disappear if you move your cursor away from the picture.

Emergency? - Forgotten an important date?  Ring or email us before you place your order and we will do our very best to hand-write your message in a card and send it direct to the recipient.
